Using FitChecked
You can use FitChecked to create an account, build a profile, post outfits, make lookbooks, manage closet and product details, tag people and products, comment, follow people, send direct messages, and use privacy and account tools.
You are responsible for your account and for the content and activity that comes from it.
Eligibility
You may use FitChecked only if you are allowed to use it under applicable law and these terms.
You must be 16 years or older to use FitChecked. FitChecked may use birthday or age-related information to apply eligibility and age-limited privacy controls.
Your Account
Keep your account information accurate and protect your login credentials.
FitChecked may require email verification, password confirmation, trusted-device checks, two-factor checks, or other security steps before sensitive actions.
If you think someone accessed your account without permission, contact us.
Your Content
You keep ownership of content you own.
When you post or upload content, you give FitChecked permission to host, store, display, distribute, format, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate and protect the service.
Only upload or share content you have the right to use. Do not post content that violates another person's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
Tags and Product Assignments
FitChecked includes person tags, product tags, closet items, and product assignments.
Do not tag people or products in a misleading, abusive, invasive, or harassing way.
If you are tagged in someone else's post, you can remove yourself from that post where the app supports it. Removing yourself removes your person tag. Product tags assigned to you on that post stay on the post and are reassigned to the post owner.
Direct Messages
FitChecked direct messages are designed to use end-to-end encryption. FitChecked servers store and relay encrypted message records and metadata, but do not hold server-side keys needed to read plaintext message bodies or decrypted media.
You are responsible for the messages you send. Other participants may save, screenshot, report, forward, or share messages from their own devices.
Do not use DMs for harassment, threats, spam, scams, exploitation, unwanted sexual content, illegal activity, or abuse.
What You Cannot Do
Do not use FitChecked to:
- Break the law;
- Harass, threaten, exploit, shame, or abuse another person;
- Impersonate someone or misrepresent a brand, business, product, endorsement, or relationship;
- Post hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, unsafe, or illegal content;
- Invade another person's privacy or share private information without permission;
- Spam, scrape, automate abuse, manipulate metrics, or interfere with the service;
- Bypass safety, privacy, age, security, or access controls;
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access;
- Misuse reports, appeals, privacy requests, tags, DMs, product features, or business claim features.
Minor Safety and Sexual Exploitation
FitChecked does not allow sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, child sexual abuse material, or attempts to sexualize minors.
FitChecked may remove content, disable accounts, preserve evidence, and report to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate.
Moderation and Enforcement
FitChecked may review reports, investigate abuse, remove or restrict content, limit visibility, disable features, suspend accounts, deactivate accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or take other action to protect users and the service.
FitChecked may use automated tools and human review to help detect safety, security, policy, or legal issues.
Where available, you may be able to appeal certain decisions.
Account Deactivation and Deletion
Deactivation disables normal account use without deleting your account. You may be able to reactivate later.
Deletion starts a 7-day grace period. If you do not cancel during that period, FitChecked deletes, anonymizes, or pseudonymizes your account data where appropriate. Some records may be kept for legal, safety, security, moderation, dispute, or privacy compliance reasons.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how FitChecked collects, uses, shares, exports, and deletes personal information.
By using FitChecked, you acknowledge that FitChecked handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy and related notices.
Third-Party Links and Services
FitChecked may link to products, brands, stores, websites, or other third-party services.
Those third parties are responsible for their own content, products, services, terms, and privacy practices.
Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on FitChecked violates your copyright, trademark, brand, or other rights, contact legal@fitchecked.app.
FitChecked may remove or restrict content, ask for more information, notify the user who posted it, or preserve records where needed.
Changes to the Service
FitChecked may add, remove, pause, or change features. FitChecked may also require updates or stop supporting older app versions for safety, security, legal, privacy, or operational reasons.
